First Grade Music is perfect for students learning to read and master other grade-level skills. Our catchy songs incorporate both music and other skills your students need to learn. The lesson plans incorporates grade-level concepts which uses both sides of the brain for learning. It includes rhythm and Solfege (Do-Re-Mi) learning and exercises as well as memorable songs that are enjoyable to learn and sing.
First Grade Music comes with a booklet and audio CD, but you can choose a downloadable file containing the booklet in an Adobe PDF format, and the CD tracks as MP3 audio files. Or order it on a flash drive with all the other levels.
The booklet has fourteen lessons, worksheets, and flash cards that you can remove and make copies as needed. Simply follow the steps. The lessons indicate what to say, what to do, when to play the audio. Your students will enjoy the songs, and you'll have fun too.
The Public School edition was modified to secular text from the Christian School and Homeschool Editions, which contain biblical references and expressions.
